Don’t mention Booty-Call on the Radio… (Bobotie Recipe)

Who knew there was a South African dish called Bobotie? Well, I didn’t. A funny moment on the Weekend Kitchen show in this episode; at my expense…

So… here’s what happens when you mention a booty-call on BBC Radio… By the way, the picture is of a previous show – I forgot to take a picture at last weeks show!

This was a hilarious show; and here’s a sneaky peak at what happens when you mention booty call on BBC Radio!

I always have a great time with Nick Coffer on his BBC Radio 3CR Weekend Kitchen show. Last week we had myself, Alfonso Bravocco and Adrian Waygood – two great guys that were a ton of fun to do the show with. Alfonso runs a trattoria in Woburn Sands and Adrian runs a pub and a farm (plus camping!) in Stevenage, and boy can those guys cook!

I made a few favourites, including my Peruvian Pork Chops with Uchucuta, Prawn Coconut Curry and my Asian Spiced Calamari with tons of chilli!

There was some delicious food cooked – Alfonso does a mean pasta and Adrian made some incredible homemade chorizo (which was cunningly combined to create a crayfish and chorizo bread and butter pudding – yes I nailed the lot!).
